I wrote the lyrics from scratch and composed a crude demo of the song in Renoise where I even sang with my own voice.

I then imported it into Suno and allowed it to improve upon it by making a more professional arrengement and made my voice sound decent. This required about 100 generations until I had all the snippets and backing vocals I needed.

I then downloaded the stems and worked for about a week in a DAW to arrange everything according to my taste. At the end I removed a complete verse and moved some text around to make the song at a good length.

I did the mastering manually and sent it to be published.

Since this would take 2 weeks I used that time to make a music video. Just for fun I wanted to see how far it was possible to get with only using free tools so all the settings and surroundings are images created by ChatGPT. I then imported them into Grok to create the animations. The woman in the video is a digital copy of my wife Susanna and even though her appearence varies some from clip to clip it is scary close to her real looks at times. The man in the video is a complete imaginary man created by Grok with no resemblence to any real human.

Once I had all the video snippets I needed, I created the video in DaVinci resolve which took me about 4 days.

So all in all, about 4 weeks of full time work to make it. Sure, I had the help of AI but in no way is the song written by AI. It’s been a tool, a helping friend, a collaborator.

This is NOT a prompt song where Suno did 99% of the work.

We are going to go skiing in Säfsen this newyears and I wrote this song about the upcoming trip.

It was a quick job where Suno did most of the work. It suggested some lyrics but then I rewrote about 90% of it since Suno sucks at text. I then suggested a chord progression, a structure and a style and allowed it to work it’s magic.

Spent about 2 days in a DAW to add the last finishing touches like background vocals and some effects.

This one started out an an experiment to see if I was capable of writing a song about a character where each morning is worse than the one before. It was finished and performed live by me during the Medieval Week 2024 in Visby but this is the studio version completed about a year later.

Text is 100% made by me. Took me almost 1.5 years to finish it. Music is based on a song by Trubbelidur (Sad but true blues) however almost completely reworked. Used it with their permission of course.

Used AI to play the instruments and the singing but with a lot of manual input. Downloaded stems and arranged everything according to my taste in a DAW, made a manual master and published it.

The Medieval week on Gotland has for many years had an anthem called Sju Dagar Per År which ALL visitors know by heart. I wanted to make my own version with a little twist and since there is so much hair during the Midieval week (beards, dreads etc) I thought Sju Dagar (med hår) would be appropriate. The song was finished just before Medieval Week 2025 and actually performed live in front of an audience by me.

I also made sure I had a written permission to use the original melody created by Loke Nyberg

Compiled some of the works I’m happy with and released a complete album on Spotify. Re-released the instrumental song Primeiro which once was on Spotify because it’s special to me.

At my work place (Frimis Visby) every december we serve almost 2000 people our great christmas buffee. All guests are instructed at arrival that you will need to use 7 different plates. First you take a plate with herring, potato, egg. Then you discard that plate and take a new one with salmon, paté. The reason for this is that the chefs don’t want the taste of herring onto their meatballs etc.

So, to make fun of this. I created this song that is an instruction on how to eat these seven plates. It’s intentionally created to sound a little like Peter Jöback / Saleem Al Fakir. I think I succeeded

I am part of a medieval jousting group called Bockens Kämpar where I am the herald. The founder of that group is called Riddare Bockskägg and albeit a very nice guy he also has an ego a few sizes too large for his own good. I choose to write this song to him as an exaggerated homage, almost ironic. I had to work hard with the editing to make the song feel like all it’s parts are connected.

I saw a way of combining Euphoria by Loreen with Stardust by Jean Michel Jarre. It took me some time but I think the result is rather good
